Note 1: The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway and the Nilgiri Mountain Railway are the last 2 surviving regular steam operated sections on IR. These have been covered seperately in the links dedicated to them on this site. (currently under contruction) Note 2: The Fairy Queen and Royal Orient are tourist special trains that operate seasonaly between October and March.
