 No. 333 was the last FT class tank locomotives (2-6-4T) of Bengal Nagpur Railway(BNR). Built by North British in 1909, it incorporated extended side-tanks.
 F3 Class 2-6-0 locomotive was originally No. 177 of Indian Midland Railway (IMR) built by Vulcan Foundry in 1896. Great Indian Peninsular Railway (GIPR) added 1000 to the numbers of IMR locomotives in 1904 so it became 1177. The predecessor F2 class of this species was known as `Torpedoes' and F3s came to be known as `New Torpedoes.'
 A Class (later known as A1) locomotive was built by Kitson in 1887. Originally No. 2 of Indian Midland Railway (IMR), it became No. 1002 of Great Indian Peninsular Railway (GIPR). Photographer of this picture notes on the back, "GIPR 4-4-0s built in 1877(incorrect) now being used as Mail locos. The remarkable 4-4-0 type produced by GIP to work the Bombay - Madras mail apparently due to all 4-6-0s being condemned till retyred. Two of these were on our train and made up 35 mins. in 440 Kms."

 Seen here at Agra in 1929, the F2 Class 2-6-0 locomotive was originally No. 164 of Indian Midland Railway(IMR) built by Vulcan Foundry in 1893. Great Indian Peninsular Railway(GIPR) added 1000 to the numbers of IMR locomotives in 1904 so it became 1164. The ten locomotives of F2 class were known as `Torpedoes'.
