Return of the Glorious Days of the Smoking Beauties

Indian Railways is committed towards reviviving and preserving its glorious steam loco heritage. In this series, first was none other than the Fairy Queen, also known as EIR 22, an 1855 M/s Kitson Thompson and Hewitson Leeds, UK, make steam locomotive. It has been restored and maintained by Heritage Steam Loco shed Rewari. It has been used to haul the Ceremonial Heritage run of “69 Up Ganrajya Express” on Dt. 26-01-2018 in the august presence of Sh. Rajen Gohain, Hon’ble Minister of State for Railways from New Delhi to Delhi(main) station with the senior officers of Railway Board and Northern Railway. For more information Download
